Scouting Skills For Life

3rd West Bridgford (Friary) Scout Group celebrated its 95h anniversary in 2022 and is continuing to provide all our members with Skills for Life through an interesting and educational program. As of January 2024, we have a team of 30 adult volunteers supporting just over 90 young people across two Beavers colonies, a Cub pack and a Scout troop.

Scouting offers life changing adventure, fun and friendship to over 450,000 young people across the UK. We are the country’s largest co-educational youth movement. Scouting is one of the greatest movements the world has ever known. Scouts have walked on the moon, rowed across oceans, scaled the highest mountains. They have been Prime Ministers and Oscar winners, authors and inventors, World Cup heroes and scientists.
