We understand that these are still difficult times and that individuals have been affected in many different ways. We are fortunate that many parents have been able to continue to pay subscriptions even though our programmes have been disrupted by Covid-19, and consequently we are in a better place than some Scout Groups who are seriously struggling.
Due to the pandemic and for other historical reasons, the Scout Association are increasing the annual capitation charge* per young person by £7.50, increasing the national levy by circa 25%. The Group costs will increase by circa £500 to £4,000 in March 2021.
Group Trustees have agreed to bear the cost of this increase for 2021 without raising subscriptions. However, there is something you can do to help...
Our monthly Prize Draw to raise extra funds for all sections of the group so that Beavers, Cubs and Scouts can participate in additional events and activities.
